Arie Haan will not be any more the Albanian national team coach

The Albanian Football Association informs that beginning  from today, April 15^th 2009, the Dutch coach Arie Haan, will not be in charge of the Albanian National team “A”.

The decision was taken on basis of a mutual comprehensive agreement between the Albanian Football Association and the Dutch coach.

This decision was a derivation of the weak games of the Albanian National Football Team during the last matches and the fact that Albania is now far from its target: ranking in a better place in the Qualifying Group 1 of the FIFA World Cup 2010.

The Albanian Football Association thanks the Dutch coach and his staff for the contribution given during the period they were in the helm of the Albanian National Football Team.

AFA informs the media and sports fans that in the following days will make known the name of the new coach that will take the lead of the Albanian National Football Team following the departure of Arie Haan.
